At our meeting on the 20th April we had the Election of Office Bearers for the 2002-03 year.
The positions are highly sort after and as you would expect there was a lot of lobbing for nominations.
It came down to a battle for the Presidency, with Scott Opie winning the fight.
Rudi Rolih elected Treasurer, and David Liboiron taking on the Secretaries job.
Scott, Rudi, and Dave will take over at the Change Over Dinner on 17th August 2002, at Lizas Garden Restaurant Burleigh Heads.
Make sure you can attend this Change Over Dinner as it promises to be one of the best.
More details will be posted as to cost and menu as thy come to hand.
At the last meeting on the 1st August, the final figures for the Golf Day were tabled, with a $5300.00 profit, very good for the first Year. Many thanks to the organizing committee of Vince Scott J Grant & John for all the hard work they put in the event to make it the great success it was. Also thanks to the helpers on the day Helen Pam and Sonia, they did a great job in selling raffle tickets and keeping the drinks up to all the golfers.
Last but not lest a big thanks to all the Sponsors who gave their time and products to help make the Golf Day the success it was.
The next few meetings are away from the Wallaby hotel, so check the calendar of events for the meeting time and venue.
